Water System Update: Possible Early Shutdown Due to Incoming Storm

The Virginia Lakes Mutual Water Corporation is currently preparing for the seasonal shutdown of the water system, which remains scheduled for this coming weekend. However, due to the forecasted storm system moving into the Sierras, we are closely monitoring conditions and may need to begin the shutdown process earlier than planned.

Snow is possible over the weekend, and to ensure a safe and orderly shutdown, the board may advance the schedule as needed. This precaution is intended to protect the system and ensure access to necessary infrastructure before conditions deteriorate.
