Board Meeting, Water Shutdown, and Bears… OH MY!

The next Virginia Lakes Mutual Water Corporation board meeting will be held Friday, October 16, at 50 Tamarack. The meeting time is still to be determined and will be posted when available.

The seasonal water system shutdown is planned for the weekend of October 17–18. As always, weather conditions may require the shutdown to take place earlier, so homeowners should plan accordingly and prepare cabins for the end of the water season.

Bear activity continues in the area. Please remain vigilant, keep food and other attractants secured, and do not leave garbage outside or otherwise accessible to bears.

Additional updates will be posted if weather or other conditions require a change to the shutdown schedule.
