Road Plowing and Snowpack 96% of normal
We are pleased to announce that plowing operations in the Virginia Lakes area started this past Tuesday. As of now, the road is open up to the heliport parking, where county blockades are in place. Further plowing has successfully cleared one lane up to just before Dunderburg Meadow Road. See the posted photos for the current conditions.
In other exciting news, the California snowpack measurements taken on April 1st indicate that the snowpack is at 96% of the historical average. This is great news for our water resources as we head into the warmer months.
